ONUF UK is a volunteer community based charitable organisation engaging and empowering people of Nepalese expatriates living in the United Kingdom. Since establishment in 2004 the organisation is wholeheartedly involving for cohesive inclusion of the community members in the British society. In early days, the focus had on democracy, peace and human rights. It was also vocal for peaceful political settlement and respect of human rights of citizen in Nepal.
The organisation has reformed on 7th February 2021 considering community empowerment as a centre of change process and transformation, the whole organisation to explore nature and procedure of her members’ empowerment in the United Kingdom in social and economic prospective. In this process, we, all the members of the organisation expected to be participate in achieving the goals.
We eventually serve various different community members including brave GURKHAS and their families, and other wider communities where possible. As part of our heart and mind we try to be connected with our originating communities.
We are in the process of registering Charity Commission.
